Sedum Ground Cover

Sedum dasyphyllum

Certainly low growing Sedum is a good ground cover choice for sunny locations where you must provide excellent drainage for all varieties.

Sedum can also be used in rock, alpine and trough gardens with great results.

Even tall Sedum cultivars may be used as ground cover or select a choice one to place in the landscape bed where its form and texture will provide contrast.

During the mid 1960s when my interest in perennials grew I soon selected Sedum as my favorite plant family and to this day I still count it among my top choices.

Please note the diversity of Sedum selections as listed in the following chart.
