Garden Railroad

My first memories of a garden railroad date back to the 1950’s and was featured on the Walt Disney television show which I think was named The Wonderful World of Walt Disney.

During several episodes Walt Disney was filmed riding on his large scale locomotive through well landscaped areas on his estate.

The concept of railroad gardens has been around for a long time and probably was conceived when hobbyists wanted more space to enjoy their models so moved outdoors for expansion.

Recently on a business trip Bob and I, quite by accident, had the pleasure of viewing a very well thought out railroad garden design which we would like to share with you so please enjoy the following pictures which should make engineers out of all that view them.
